I love politics, which is why I am glad to see the battle of campaigns for both the Labour and Conservative parties kicking off.
What is even more exciting is how both parties have taken to social media, in particular, blogging. This campaign is thought to be one of the first times that a major political party has taken up ideas created by their supporters, and more particularly, their blogging supporters.
Pro Labour blogs have created a spoof campaign based upon David Cameronâs airbrushed billboard campaign, including âTax breaks for the richest 3,000 estate? Because Iâm worth it.â The Labour Party have joined in with the campaign, encouraging further spoofs.
It is great to see how influential blogging can be, and I look forward to watching how the campaigns unfold (especially online).
